Ga. Tech, Qualcomm form game studio

Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) has partnered with Georgia Tech to open a reality game studio on the Atlanta campus.

The Qualcomm Augmented Reality Game Studio is a research and design center that will lead advances in mobile gaming and interactive media. It will build upon Qualcomm’s augmented reality platform and related graphics technologies to produce new application concepts and prototypes, the organizations said.
